"Fear"

Fear of failure cause people to never start

Fear doesn't come from GOD(2 Tim 1:7)
God brings peace, joy, and life
No condemnation in christ jesus(Romans 8:1-2)

How we know if something is from God? Phillipians 4:6-9
If you don't feel peace in your heart after you make a decision, it's better to test it

2 types of fear:
- Fear from God (1 peter 11:7)
- Fear that is harmful

Satan uses our past sin to condemn us, but our God doesn't remember our sins (Isaiah 43:25)
Satan gave us the possibilities of the future
Satan uses potential of failure, but God give abundant life
Satan uses certainty of criticism, but God give strength, encouragement, and boldness

Characteristics of doubtful people:
- unstable, easily swayed/manipulated (James 1:5-6)
- difficult to experience miracles in life (Matthew 14:25-33)
- do not please God (Hebrews 11:6)

The works of Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17)
- lives in us
- reveals the truth
- is transforming and redeeming

Don't look at the mountain in front of you, but look at what lies behind the mountain

4 kind of love:
Eros - passionate
Phileos - friendship
Storges - parents to children
Agape - God's love

The more we love God and others, the less fear we have (1 john 4:18)
